Alter Ego Costumes is hosting the 2012 Easter Craft Fair on Sunday April 1st from 10pm to 4pm. There will be lots of vendors selling their hand made arts and crafts! There will also be live music, kids crafts, and even photos with the Easter Bunny!
We now have chairs to rent!
Alter Ego is now stocked with almost 300 white chairs available for rent!
These chairs rent for $1.00/ea for the duration of your event. Delivery may be available for an additional fee.

Halloween is right around the corner! Come on down to our fashion show to and get ideas for the best Halloween costume ever! Stop on by for the Family show at 4pm then stay for the Adult show at 8pm! There will also be vendors selling their handmade crafts, food, live music, and entertainment! Fun for the whole family!
The Fashion Show will be from 1pm to 10pm on Sunday October 2nd.

Performing Arts Feature: To Chico’s costume lady, dressing up is her business

When “Kismet” opens Friday night at Paradise Performing Arts Center, the audience will be dazzled by lush costuming, thanks to Christy Sullivan, who owns and operates Alter Ego, a Chico costume design and rental shop.
She has been at her 249 Meyer St. location for six years and in the costume business for 20, offering a vast assortment of costumes and accessories “from cavemen forward,” she said.
A tour of her shop winds through a maze of rooms, corridors and nooks, all bulging with clothing and accessories: fringed ’20s chemises, feather boas, sequined belts, hundreds of shoes, wigs, hoop skirts and formal gowns. One section contains hippie outfits and another, cowboy gear.
